I come from a proud military family—both of my parents served in the U.S. Air Force, and I went on to serve in both the Army and the Navy. That background gave me a deep understanding of the sacrifices, strength, and challenges that come with military life. After transitioning out of service, I saw how difficult that process could be—not just for me, but for so many others. That’s what led me to create Envision Success. This organization is personal. I’ve lived the journey, and I’ve seen how easy it is for veterans to feel forgotten or overwhelmed once the uniform comes off. What drives me is the belief that no one should have to face that path alone. Through Envision Success, we provide mentorship, tools, and a sense of community to help veterans move forward with purpose. Being part of this mission means everything to me. It’s my way of continuing to serve—this time by lifting others up. My hope for the future is to see Envision Success become a national support system where veterans and their families find strength, resources, and real connection.

Mark Holland

Technology and Financial MM1 (SS), US Navy Active Duty: 1966 -1979

In 1966, Mark followed in his father’s footsteps and enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving over 13 years as a Nuclear Power Machinist Mate and diesel mechanic. One of his proudest achievements was earning his submarine qualification in 1970—a rigorous process that only a select few completed. As a nuclear operator, he trained extensively to manage reactors and handle emergencies, an experience he looks back on with pride. Mark joined Envision Success in 2016 after hearing about it from another volunteer. Despite living an hour away in Yukon, he has been a dedicated member ever since, combining his passion for technology with his commitment to helping fellow veterans. In addition to managing computer systems and Pearson Vue testing, he serves as a DAV-trained veteran benefits officer, ensuring veterans receive the support they deserve.

I was born and raised in Oklahoma. Graduated with a bachelors in science for the University of Central Oklahoma in 1999. Raised two children as a single mom. I currently work as Director of operations for First Construction Corporation. Learned about Envision Success from Ron Kirkpatrick. When I discovered the mission of helping veterans in need, I knew that I had to be a part of it. My brother, an Army Veteran with PTSD took his own life just 4 years ago. He was my only sibling and only 46 years old. As a part of this organization, it is my goal to help veterans get the support they need to heal PTSD, overcome addiction and prevent homelessness. My passion for helping veterans also comes from my other family members who served. My husband joined the Army right out of high school. My grandfather was a World War II Army veteran and my uncle was a Vietnam War Army veteran. My brother Dave joined the Army soon after high school. Then re-enlisted and went to the Gulf Wars and Afghanistan twice. He was a Medic and the oldest in his platoon. Seeing the sacrifices these family members have made to serve our country, humbles me and I want to give back! Thank you Envision Success for allowing me to do just that!

Born and raised in Memphis Tennessee I joined the U.S. Army at the age of 18 just after graduating high school. I went through training in Ft. Sill Oklahoma as a 13 B Field Artillery and as a combat medic at Ft. Riley Kansas where I was stationed until my discharge in 1997. After working several years in various industries I started my first construction company with a partner and later started First Construction Corp as a solo venture. First Construction Corp has operated as a storm and disaster restoration company since 2010 and has grown every year since inception. I have always had a passion for helping fellow veterans. I have employed veterans, worked on restoration projects for veterans, and was a cofounder of a nonprofit for veterans in 2021. I became aware of Envision Success for Veterans in 2022 and am honored to be a part of this great organization.

I am originally from Belton,TX, but I have lived in Oklahoma for 20 years. As the son of an Army soldier I wound up following in my dad’s footsteps and joined the Army myself in 1998. I was a Sergeant for the Field Artillery Radar Operator (13R) who deployed to Kosovo in 1999 and then to Iraq 2003-2004. After almost 8 years in the military, in 2005 I became a military contractor and have worked to advance the fighting capabilities of the forces ever since. I joined Envision Success to help honor the service of veterans and to help them transition into the civilian workforce. I’m passionate about helping them find the resources needed to recover from the mental or physical challenges their time in the service has inflicted upon them.

Ron’s maternal grandmother served as a WAC in World War II and his son is currently in the Air Force ROTC program at OU, expecting to commission in December 2025. Born and raised in Colombia and married a proud U.S. Navy veteran. Through his journey—and the stories of so many veterans I’ve met along the way—I’ve seen the courage, sacrifice, and strength it takes to serve, as well as the challenges that often come after. Veterans give so much of themselves, putting others first without hesitation. Yet many of their struggles go unnoticed. That’s what drives my passion—making sure they’re seen, supported, and celebrated not just for their service, but for who they are as people. Envision Success gives me the chance to do just that. Being part of this mission is deeply personal to me. It’s about giving back, building community, and walking alongside those who have already given so much. My hope is to continue growing this organization into a place where every veteran feels valued, empowered, and equipped to thrive in their next chapter.
